Want to chat without turning on your camera?

Maybe your room is busy. Maybe you are on a laptop without a working webcam. Or maybe you simply prefer to type. None of those things needs a workaround: choose Text on Camzuno.

Choose Text before entering the chat

The Text option does not request camera or microphone access. You can choose your preferences and search for another text user directly. If you enter Video instead, the browser may ask for camera access to show a preview.

What if I already allowed the camera?

Leave the video page and open text chat. If you want to remove the permission too, use the site-permissions menu in your browser. The exact wording varies by browser. Choosing Text is different from hiding your camera inside an active video call.

Does no camera mean complete anonymity?

No. You can avoid showing your face, but the person you are talking to can still copy or screenshot a message. Camzuno also uses direct peer connections, and a partner may be able to learn your public IP address. Keep names, addresses, passwords, and payment details out of the chat.

What can I do in text mode?

You can message a connected partner, move to another conversation with Next, leave with Stop, and report or block unwanted behavior. Messages become available after the connection is ready, not while you are still waiting for a match.
